COMMUNITY COMMITTEES

Council Community Committees are one of the three group types that Council endorsed in November 2024 as a new approach to facilitating hearing the diverse voices of our community.
While these groups do not have delegated authority from Council to make binding decisions, their outcomes, insights, and contributions will inform reports and recommendations, as required, to Council through the relevant staff member.

Please note all community representatives and committee members must abide by Council's Code of Conduct, head to Council's dedicated webpage Code of Conduct to view more.

The newly formed Community Committees may be at different stages in their development and establishment, this page will continue to be updated as the committees commence meeting.
