Here's how every $100 you pay in rates and annual charges is spent:

1. WHAT IS THE PROPERTY IDENTIFIER?
Unique property numbers to identify your rates account. Please quote your Assessment Number when making enquiries about your rates or water account.
2. WHAT IS THE POSTING DATE?
The date Council posted your notice.
3. WHAT DOES 'DEDUCT PAYMENTS SINCE' MEAN?
The date that notice data was extracted from Council’s records and the amount due is what was due as at this date. Any payments made after this date will not show on this notice.
4. WHAT IS THE DUE DATE?
This applies to the current instalment amount.
5. WHAT IS THE TOTAL AMOUNT DUE?
Amount due, if paying quarterly.
6. EXPLAIN THE RATES AND CHARGES INSTALMENT?
This displays rates and water usage charges payable on your property. See the back page of your rates notice for full water usage billing details (see 8).
7. WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS AVAILABLE?
All the different methods in which you can pay your rates.
8. WHAT IS THE WATER CONSUMPTION CHARGE?
Details of water consumption for your property for the period indicated.
9. WHAT IS THE WATER USAGE CHARGE?
Amount payable according to water consumption.
