Dubbo Local Strategic Planning Statement
The Dubbo Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) (PDF 9.7MB) identifies Council’s 20-year vision for land use planning in the Dubbo Regional Local Government Area. It identifies the overarching strategic direction (having regard to economic, social and environmental matters), identifies how change will be managed into the future, and includes actions required to achieve the land use vision.
The LSPS shapes how development controls in the Dubbo Regional Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2022 and Development Control Plans will evolve over time to meet the community’s needs. Proposals to change zoning and planning controls in the Dubbo LEP must be consistent with the priorities and actions in the LSPS.
The LSPS was adopted by Council on 22 June 2020.
