GOLDEN HIGHWAY TREE BUFFER IMPROVEMENTS
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) advises residents that tree buffer improvement works will begin on the Golden Highway opposite the New Dubbo Cemetery on Monday 22 July 2024.
These works are estimated to be completed within two days, weather permitting.
The works will include the removal of unsuitable species and dead trees growing within the buffer zone, which will improve the aesthetic appeal of the area and provide a safer transit for motorists.
The speed limit within the area will be lowered to 60 kilometres per hour.
Council will conduct the works between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
