BENOLONG BRIDGE 42 TONNE LOAD LIMIT REINSTATED
Dubbo Regional Council advises the 15 tonne load limit on Benolong Bridge has been removed and the original 42 tonne gross load limit has been reinstated following the completion of bridge repair works.
Speed restrictions of 20 kilometres per hour still apply to traffic crossing the bridge. Council requests motorists obey instructional signage.
Benolong Bridge is located on Benolong Road and passes over Wambangalang Creek. It is located approximately eight kilometres from Obley Road and approximately 9.3 kilometres from Terrabella Road.
Council acknowledges the inconvenience these works caused to local residents and thanks the community and road users for their continued understanding during the repair works.
