DRTCC’S 2023 SEASON FINISHES WITH A LAUGH
The final show in the Dubbo Regional Theatre’s 2023 Dare to be Different Season Program is going out with a bang and a burst of laughter this November.
Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase boasts a line-up of veteran favourites and some of the freshest, emerging comedic talents, it’s a jam-packed night of pure entertainment that is bound to leave you sore from belly laughs!
Expertly curated, the Showcase combines a selection of the best and funniest comedians from the Sydney Comedy Festival and lets them loose on stage for an incredible two hours of hard-hitting laughter.
This year’s all-star comedy cast includes Billy D’Arcy, Sean Woodland, John Cruckshank, Laura Hughes, Patrick Golamco, Elliott Stewart and Laura Coleman.
Billy D’Arcy is laid back, likeable and quickly becoming a big name across the Australian comedy scene with his sharp, slick comedic style. Sean Woodland, described as ‘one of Sydney’s funniest blokes’ is a consummate storyteller and always an audience favourite. While John Cruckshank brings his beloved brand of laidback king of deadpan. He is known as a masterful observer of the everyday and every other day with his well-placed one-liners.
Laura Hughes’ style is delightfully wicked but ever so charming, Laura is bound to give you the giggles and leave you wanting more. Patrick Golamco is a favourite across the Sydney comedy room scene and is certain to have you laughing. While Elliott Stewart and Laura Coleman are two newcomers on the Australian Comedy Circuit, they are fast building a reputation as the next up-coming comedians.
“The Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase is a popular annual event on the DRTCC calendar and guaranteed to have you laughing in your seats,” said Dubbo Regional Council Regional Events Manager, Linda Christof.
“The Showcase is the perfect opportunity to get your friends together for a night out. There are still tickets remaining so we definitely encourage you to get in early to avoid disappointment,” said Ms Christof.
