OXLEY PARK ACCESS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Access to Oxley Park, Montefiores has now been restored after being closed for safety reasons following multiple flooding events.
Dubbo Regional Council has re-opened access to the reserve, which also grants access to the river.
Barriers remain in place around some areas of the park as Council works on solutions for the bridge.
DRC has engaged Soil Conservation Services to undertake an assessment and provide options and recommendations on the remediation of the confluence of the Bell and Macquarie Rivers.
