VET TRUCK ARRIVING IN WELLINGTON
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) would like to notify pet owners in the Local Government Area of the arrival of Animal Welfare League’s mobile vet truck.
The truck will be stationed at Apex Park on Thornton Street Wellington from 9am to 12pm on Sunday, 18 June 2023; providing free health checks, free microchipping and free dog C3 and cat F3 vaccinations.
The purpose-built B-double trailer is over 25 metres long. It has specially designed areas for animal surgeries, an isolation room, and over 35 recovery cages. It also features equipment for blood work, fridges, a veterinary scale, extensive storage to hold veterinary supplies and more.
Cats must be in carriers and dogs on leads, please ensure to bring a mobile device to sign in. Limit three animals per household.
