PHONE CALLS MADE FOR BIENNIAL WATER AND SEWER SURVEY
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) is currently holding the biennial Water Supply and Sewerage Customer Satisfaction Survey.
The survey aims to support the development of Council’s 2024 - 2026 Water Supply and Sewerage Customer Service Plan.
The survey is run by external company Micromex with residents across the Local Government Area to receive a phone call from 02 8358 2995, asking them to take part in the survey.
Phone numbers will be chosen at random and no personal information will be asked for. Micromex will use publicly available contact information purchased through a commercial third party, ensuring privacy of the participants.
The survey started on 29 April with researchers requiring a minimum of 500 people to participate in the survey which will be conducted via a phone mix of mobile and landline.
DRC Manager Operations Water Supply and Sewerage Bec Eade said residents were encouraged to participate in the survey.
“All they need to do is to respond to a number of short answer questions which shouldn’t take any longer than a few minutes,” Ms Eade said.
“It is important Council understands the community’s expectations in terms of our water supply and sewerage service delivery.”
The survey findings and resulting Draft Water Supply and Sewerage Customer Service Plan will be presented to Council at an Ordinary Council Meeting for endorsement to be placed on Public Exhibition.
The survey looks at the overall service of the Water and Sewer department.
If you have a direct question about service levels and you do not receive a phone call, you are invited to contact Council via DRC&Me, phoning 6801 4000 or email council@dubbo.nsw.gov.au with your query and details so staff can respond.
