CHANGES TO RECREATIONAL PATHS FOR SAFETY

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wishes to advise the community that due to the erosion along the Tracker Riley Walkway, Lady Cutler South and Sandy Beach, DRC has closed sections of the path and installed diversions which will remain in place for the foreseeable future. This decision has been to ensure the safety of our community.

Following the wet weather staff will assess these areas and investigate recreating new paths in locations that are considered to be lower risk.

Users of the Regand Park Walkway are advised to use with caution. There may be some sections of the pathway that are impacted by the rising river levels. Please remain clear and do not enter flood waters.

DRC would like to urge the community to respect warning signs and barricades that have been put in place for safety.
