FLOOD UPDATE - DUBBO REGION - 10 OCT

DRC UPDATE, 6.30am Monday 10 October 2022

Residents are reminded to plan extra time for travel this morning (Monday 10 October 2022) with some roads and bridges across the region remaining closed. Macquarie River levels at the Serisier Bridge have fallen over night to 7.46m at 6am this morning but this is not low enough for crews to commence cleaning up.

Drivers should not attempt to cross any flooded roadways and consider altering travel times to avoid the busy morning period or work from home if possible. Drivers are also asked to be patient with frontline crews managing the changed traffic conditions.

Footpaths and roads across the region may be slippery, or contain debris, as flood water recedes. Pedestrians and drivers are urged to avoid areas where flood water is receding, until clean up can occur.

All unsealed roads in the Local Government Area remain closed with access for local residents in passenger vehicles under 3.5 ton only.  For a full list of road updates please visit www.dubbo.nsw.gov.au/flood
