REOPENING OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE, BOOTHENBA ROAD INTERSECTION
Boothenba Road intersection was closed in June 2022 to facilitate works to upgrade the intersection and create dedicated turning and deceleration lanes for the entry to and exit of the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets (DRLM).
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) will be reopening Boothenba Road and Newell Highway intersection to two way traffic from midday tomorrow, Friday 25 November.
Purvis Lane and Yarrandale Road detour will be removed, and Boothenba Road will be accessible from the Newell Highway.
Speed restrictions and traffic control will be in place until the completion of the works, with line marking to begin in early December 2022.
Further notices regarding the project will be available in early 2023.
