TRAFFIC CONDITIONS DURING NSW TOUCH JUNIOR STATE CUP
More than 10,000 participants are expected to converge on Dubbo for the NSW Touch Junior State Cup – Northern Conference from 21 - 23 February 2025.
The NSW Touch Junior State Cup attracts teams from across the northern half of the state to Dubbo and the surrounding region with the three-day competition taking place at the Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct.
During the event several road closures and changes will be in place in the vicinity of the Lady Cutler Sporting Precinct.
Temporary road closures for the event will be in place from 7pm Thursday 20 February to 7pm Sunday 23 February 2025 and include:
- Sandy Beach Road from Ian Drake Drive to South Street
- Bligh Street from Bultje Street to Macquarie Street
- Ian Drake Drive from Bligh Street to Sandy Beach Road
- South Street from Bligh Street to Tamworth Street
Other temporary road closures from Friday 21 February to 23 February 2025 include:
- Tamworth Street from South Street to Macquarie Street (daily from 5am to 7pm)
- Tamworth Street from Macquarie Street to Brisbane Street (daily from 5am to 7pm)
- Macquarie Street from Cobra Street to Tamworth Street (local residents only)
Sandy Beach car park will be closed for the duration of the event.
Motorists are advised to avoid Macquarie Street in the South Dubbo area and use Brisbane Street or Darling Street to access the CBD.
Variable message signs will be in place for the event communicating changes to traffic conditions.
