FORUM TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) is extending an invitation to anyone involved in the local development industry to attend the Mayoral Developers Forum on 19 June 2024.

The forum will bring together representatives from the development industry and Council to assist improved communication of development activity in the region and continue to strengthen relationships.

Presentations by Council and the Real Estate Institute NSW – Orana Division will highlight development statistics and trends, strategic planning updates, NSW Government planning reforms, recent grant applications, and investment attraction activities.

“I view these forums as important events which bring members of the development industry together to discuss matters of mutual interest and benefit.”

“We know that we have many people wishing to move to the Dubbo Region, but we also know that we have a housing shortage. The way to develop solutions to the housing shortage is through the engagement and involvement of all stakeholders. From there we are able to put those solutions into actions together,” Clr Dickerson said.

The forum is also an opportunity for Council staff and others to provide information about planning matters, legislation and future development.

The Mayoral Developers Forum will be held at the Western Plains Cultural Centre, 76 Wingewarra Street on Wednesday 19 June from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to planning@dubbo.nsw.gov.au by 9am Monday 17 June 2024.
